9th Irish Shellfish Safety Scientific Workshop

The 9th Irish Shellfish Safety Scientific Workshop was held in the Kenmare, County Kerry, March 20th, 2009 
This Workshop has become an annual event since April 2000 where scientists, regulators, and shellfish farmers meet to review developments in the monitoring and research of shellfish safety issues both in Ireland and internationally. The Workshop is co-sponsored by Marine Institute, the Food Safety Authority of Ireland (FSAI), Sea Fisheries Protection Authority and Bord Iascaigh Mhara (BIM).
