The 37th edition of this seminar will be held in co-operation with the National University of Singapore and takes place at the Grand Park City Hall hotel (Singapore) from 24–28 October 2011.
Utilising a combination of lectures and workshops conducted by experts, this five-day course strives to explain the complexities of dredging. Subjects covered include:
- the development of new ports and maintenance of existing ports;
- project phasing (identification, investigation, feasibility studies, design, construction,...);
- descriptions of types of dredging equipment and boundary conditions for their use;...
Site visit to a dredging project:
Getting out of the classroom and into the field is an important feature of the seminar and so in each country a visit to a dredging project is planned.
Cost and early registration:
The cost of the seminar will be € 3,100.-. People registering before 1 September 2011 will receive a € 250.- discount.
