Towards a Joint Cetacean Sightings Database for Ireland
The seminar aims to present data and results from research initiatives on the distribution of whales and dolphins in Irish waters; to obtain feedback on recording schemes from partners in Ireland; and to unite the creation of a Joint Irish Cetacean Sightings Database.
Guest speakers include Dr. Simon Northbridge from SMRU, St. Andrews, Scotland; Dr. Peter Evans from Seawatch Foundation, Oxford, England and Dr Emer Rogan from University College, Cork.
