The international symposium is being organized by ICIMOD together with Group on Earth Observation (GEO) and GIS Development, India with the aim to promote the use and access to earth observation for improved scientific knowledge and understanding for adaptation to climate change in the region. Besides inaugural and valedictory sessions by prominent speakers, we are extending invitations for contributions in the following six-track themes from scientists, researchers, development practitioners and policy makers and donors from the region and beyond.
