The sustainable exploitation of marine resources demands cross-cutting research and engagement. The aim of the forum is to provide a platform for presentations and discussions that explore how best to use new tools which are being developed,and address the new challenges we face in a changing policy climate.
The following provisional themes are being considered:
- Science-policy integration
- Marine conservation,planning and development
- Ecosystem-based management in the marine environment
- Management of marine resources
