NutraMara are hosting a marine functional foods research initiative (MFFRI) informative training day to take place in Ashtown, Dublin on 12th May 2009. The aims of meeting are to:
• Give a briefing on the MFFRI and the different work packages involved
• Provide a forum for early stage researchers to network
• Provide an overview of latest developments in marine functional foods
• Enable interaction between researchers and different marine industry representatives.
The training day will be of interest to all those involved directly or indirectly in the MFFRI and also to other researchers, institutions, industries and national agencies with a background in marine science and marine functional foods.
