Galway Atlantaquaria, National Aquarium of Ireland is emerging out of the deep blue sea and into space to celebrate the launch of National Science Week 2010. ‘Our Place in Space’ is the theme for this years Science Week event and the aquarium with the support of the Marine Institute have organised a Family Fun Day on Sunday 7th November from 12.00 noon. Exhibits at Science Week Sunday Fun Day include: •Explorers Education Programme - Dr Noirin asks "Is there anybody out there??" •Marine Institute: Try your hand at Cartoon Art for Aliens with Dr John •CAISIE - Inland Fisheries and our own Alien Species •Department of Physics and Astronomy NUI Galway - Moon & Tides with Dr. Alan Shearer •Galway Astronomy Club - Our Place in Space with Philip Walsh •Brendan Smith - DERI - Go back in time and play Pac Man and Space Invaders •St. Patrick's Boys National School, Lombard Street - see their project on Invasive Species •Loopy Lou Face Painting - best face painter ever! •Galway Subaqua Club - diving into the deep •Laura and her amazing space stories for juniors •Amazing Space Experiments with our own Doctor Speck
