The WOC is bringing together industries that use and impact the oceans to catalyze global leadership and collaboration in addressing cross-cutting marine sustainability issues, in support of improved business operations .
With the theme of “Reducing Risk, Increasing Sustainability: Solutions through Collaboration” the SOS will bring together the diverse ocean business community to develop interaction and leadership on cross-sectoral issues to create business benefits, such as economies of scale in the research and development of solutions to shared issues, e.g. ocean noise, marine debris, marine invasive species.
