The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) invites proposals for doctoral scholarships to support environmental research leading to the award of a Ph.D. The maximum grant award will be €80,000 for non-laboratory based projects and €95,000 for laboratory-based projects - including tuition fees, stipend and other eligible costs.
Applications may relate to marine related research. Applications should be submitted specifically under one of the themes listed below which have been identified as areas requiring enhanced research capacity in Ireland:

Green Chemistry,

Monitoring & Modelling for Environmental Compliance,

Sustainable Development and the Smart Economy.
