FP7 Support Services

There are a wide range of support services, training events, websites and on-line guides to assist with preparing proposals and participating in FP7 projects:

Irish FP7 Links

The FP7 Ireland office in Enterprise Ireland operates a dedicated website for the FP7 Programme in Ireland. Details of financial supports for project development (e.g travel and subsistence grants for meeting potential project partners) offered by Enterprise Ireland can also be found on this site.

The Irish National Support Network for FP7 offers a range of support services to all organisations interested in participating in FP7. The Network of National Delegates and National Contact Points covers all Programmes and Themes and can be contacted for information and advice on any aspect of the Programme.

The Irish Liaison Office for EU RTD in Brussels is part of the Irish National Support Network and offers a range of services to Irish participants in FP7.

The Irish Marie Curie Office is run by the Irish Universities Association (IUA). The office provides advice and support to researchers and research-active organisations on the preparation of high quality proposals and in the management of their Marie Curie contracts.

The Irish Researcher's Mobility Office and Portal is also run by the IUA and provides up-to-date information and practical advice for researchers planning to work in Ireland and for Irish researchers looking to work overseas.

European FP7 Links

The Europa FP7 site gives background to the Framework Programme and provides a policy-oriented view of the Programme and its components. The site is intended to provide information on FP7 to anyone interested in finding out more about policy-driven European Research funding. There is also a handy pocket guide called "FP7 in Brief" available to download for newcomers to the Framework Programme.

The Cordis website, on the other hand, is the key portal for researchers interested in participating in FP7. All of the calls under each of the four Programmes are published on the Cordis site and all of the necessary documents needed to prepare a proposal can be downloaded here. Access to the EPSS (Electronic Proposal Submission System) on-line proposal submission system is gained through the Cordis FP7 site.
