Marine Institute Webmap Services

The Standard Map Viewer allows you to view samples of marine datasets collected by the Marine Institute. For up-to-date data observations from the Marine Institute's sensor networks please visit the Integrated Marine Observations page.

To find out more about what spatial data is available from the Marine Institute, please refer to the Irish Spatial Data Exchange (ISDE). The ISDE allows you to search online data catalogues showing Irish marine and other scientific and environmental datasets from the Marine Institute and other ISDE partners. See the Online Resources link for each record (after clicking Show /Hide Full Details) to see how to access or request each dataset.

Please note that the base maps used by the Standard Map Viewer are third party datasets and are not generally available from the Marine Institute.
