Air Temperature

The air temperature is measured using a Platinum Resistance Thermometer (sometimes referred to as an Electrical Resistance Thermometer).

This thermometer contains a wire that has a resistance of 100.00 Ohms at 0.00 deg C.  As the temperature changes so does the resistance of the wire.

Units: Celsius, °C

Range: -30oC - +69.9oC

Resistance: 0.1oC

Accuracy: +/-0.2oC
