Project Summary
This project will support the compilation and analysis of historical eel data along witht he river, lake and transitional water habitat based GIS information. The outputs of this project will form the basis for the development of River Basin Eel Managemetn Plans directed under EU Regulation COM (2005) 472 establishing measures for the recovery of the stock of European Eel and covers the initial phase of a 3 - 5 year programme.
