ISDE Search Tips

Before using the ISDE Search, please note following hints and tips:

• You can search by specifying the spatial extent, a key word, a category, data type or any combination of these.
• The more detail you specify will shorten the time a search will take, however be careful when using categories and keywords as some meta-data records may be eliminated.
• Your search criteria are passed to meta-data catalogue services in each of the partner organizations. In the event that one of these services is not operational you will not receive any results from this partner.
• The ISDE is in its early stages of operation. Periodic interruptions in the operation of the messaging hub may take place from time to time.
