ISDE Standards

The ISDE depends on a number of standards for its successful operation. The principal standards are:

• ISO 19115 for meta data structure
• OGC CSW 2.0 For catalogue entry exchange
• UDDI for service identification.

The ISDE partners have published a number of documents that the partners are proposing as candidate Reach Interoperability Guidelines (RIGs). We refer to these as ISDE Interoperability Guidelines (IIGs). The current IIGs are:

• Interoperability Guidelines (IIG003) for Data Server
• Interoperability Guidelines (IIG002) for ISDE Record
• Interoperability Guidelines (IIG001) for ReachLite
