The Croke Park Agreement, in place from June 2010 to December 2014, requires the public service to evolve to a fit-for-purpose, affordable service which delivers a high level of transformation with a strong emphasis on improved performance and delivery to the citizen.
The Marine Institute has a comprehensive plan to address these requirements, which is reported on periodically as required.
As part of the Public Service Croke Park Agreement; the Implementation Body for the Public Service Agreement and Department of Public Expenditure and Reform regularly review the Action Plans and Progress being made by all Public Sector Departments and Semi State Bodies.
