The Joint Transnational Call on Aquatic Pollutants (Risks posed to human health and the environment by pollutants and pathogens present in water resources) is open. This is a joint call between 3 JPIs (Water, AMR and Ocean). The call will support research and innovation projects that establish integrated and cross-sectoral approaches for risk-management combining the research areas of contaminants of emerging concerns (CECs), pathogens and antimicrobial resistance. 26 countries including Ireland are pooling resources to implement the joint transnational call. The EPA has made an indicative commitment of €0.5m to support the participation of the Irish research community.
Full details are available on the JPI Water website. Please contact Irish National Contact Point Lisa Shiels (l [dot] sheils [at] epa [dot] ie) with any queries.
The deadline for submission of pre-proposals is 16th April 2020.
