Summary of the Role:
The position is a unique opportunity for recent graduates to gain hands on experience in the field of applied economic research. The successful candidate will be afforded the prospect to gain experience working in a strategic, research and policy development area. The successful individual will be responsible for project support in a number of areas in the Irish Maritime Development Office, but specifically the Shipping Market Analysis programme. This will include research, analysis and assistance with the preparation of reports and publications. This position is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or post-graduate in Economics or Transport Economics. Previous researchers have gone on to work in a multitude of organisations, including financial institutions, government bodies, research institutes and global transport organisations. Duration of Contract:
The fixed term, fixed purpose Graduate Training contract will run for a maximum of 50 weeks. The successful candidate will be on probation for the first 6 months of this training contract.
