ERA-NET BlueBio First Additonal Call 2020
The Marine Institute is delighted to advise that the 2020 Transnational Call for research proposals under the ERA-NET BlueBio (Blue Bioeconomy - Unlocking the Potential of Aquatic Bioresources) Co-fund is now open.
This call is targeted on supply systems in the blue bioeconomy: logistics and transportation - from harvest to processing. The scope of the call is to fund projects that facilitate the transfer (i.e. logistics, preservation and transportation) of bio-resources from harvest (catch or production) to processing to ensure e.g. traceability, quality, sustainability and the necessary quantity or pre-processing of the bio-resources for conversion into products for the market. This entails also the supply systems to primary producers for aspects affecting the bio-resources as it moves further in the value chain.
The call announcement and details on how to submit pre-proposal applications are available on the BlueBio website.
The funding available for Irish partners is 200,000 Euro, which is being funded by the Marine Institute. A summary of the Ireland National Funding Guidelines are published in Annex 2 of the Call Announcement on the BlueBio website (link above). If you have any queries please email funding@marine.ie or the nominated national contact point listed.
Closing date for pre-proposals: Monday, September 14th 2020, 13.00 CET (12 noon Irish time).
