SEAI National Energy RD&D Funding Programme Call 2022
The 2022 SEAI National Energy RD&D Funding Programme Call is current open for submissions. The deadline for applications is Monday the 16th of May, and full details are now available on the SEAI website. This Programme is open to applications from public and private sector organisations, either applying individually or as part of a consortium, with the following overarching goals:
• To stimulate and accelerate the development & deployment of energy related products, processes & systems in the Irish marketplace;
• To grow Ireland's national capacity to carry out internationally leading RD&D activities;
• To support solutions that enable technical & other barriers to market uptake of energy related products, processes & systems to be overcome;
• To provide timely guidance & support to policy makers and public bodies through results, outcomes and learning from supported projects.
The 2022 Call also involves co-funding partnerships with the following organisations: the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine, the Department of Transport, ESB Networks, Geological Survey Ireland and the National Parks and Wildlife Service of the Department of Housing, Local Government and Heritage.
The programme provides the opportunity for applicants to submit proposals to either an Open Strand or a Topic Strand, with full Call details now available at the website linked above.Registration is open for the upcoming Call Launch Webinar, which will take place on Thursday 20th April 2022. This webinar will include an overview of the key updates to the 2022 Call, as well as an overview of the application process.
