P&O Vessel

 P&O Maritime Logistics provides ship management, operations and maintenance services for two research vessels: the RV Celtic Explorer and the RV Tom Crean. These services are provided through P&O Maritime Logistics' shore and sea based employees based in Galway.  They include:

  • Vessel crewing management
  • Technical and operational ship management
  • Engineering and workshop management
  • Scientific equipment and instrumentation management
  • Vessel and shore side infrastructure safety and security management

The ship management and operation services are provided to international standards and in accordance with P&O Maritime Logistics' occupational health, safety, environment and quality systems and corporate governance requirements.
