Consultation on the preparation of the Marine Institute's Irish Language Scheme
Aighneachtaí Á Lorg - Request For Submissions
The Marine Institute proposes to draft a scheme in accordance with Section 11 of the Official Languages Act 2003. The primary objective of the Act is to ensure better availability and a higher standard of public services through Irish. The Marine Institute now wishes to invite representations in relation to the preparation of the draft scheme from any interested parties. Submissions should ideally not exceed 8000 words. Submissions, which will be made available on the Institute’s website, should be forwarded electronically to the Marine Institute mocinneide@marine.ie
Alternatively they may be posted to Rúnaí, Scéim Teanga, Foras na Mara, Uarán Mór, Co na Gaillimhe.

The deadline for receipt of submissions is 5pm on Friday 1 June, 2007.

Tá Foras na Mara ag lorg Aighneachtaí maidir le hullmhú na dréacht scéime ó aon pháirtithe leasmhara. Ba chóir nach rachadh na Aighneachtaí sin thar 8000 focal (8 leathanach). Ba chóir freisin, go seolfaí na Aighneachtaí isteach go leictreonach chuigmocinneide@marine.ie
Ina ionad sin, is féidir iad a seoladh trid an bpost chuig An Rúnaí, Scéim Teanga, Foras na Mara, Uarán Mór, Condae na Gaillimhe.
